recuerdo cuando salió este tema en el 92-93 , yo aun compraba revistas de heavyrock. la verdad es que la letra es una chorrada pero ya conoces a los yanquis. son muy susceptibles. recuerdo que salió Slash defendiendose y con una foto de su tia, y de su abuela que era mas negra que el betún. Decía algo asi como “pero que cojones de racisa voy a ser yo si soy medio negro, no lo veis” … 😀

Ya… Precisamente anteayer le mostré una foto a mi novia de Slash con su madre Ola.

Es una chorrada, pero oyendo la canción se emparanoió XD

Por el 92 acababa de dejar los pañales… que envidia me dais algunos 😛

Ésta canción en principio estaba incluida en el let there be rock, pero fue censurada y en su lugar metieron problem child, que había aparecido en su álbum anterior.

Coca Cola hizo cambiar la letra a The Kinks porque su canción hablaba de homosexuales o travestis y no querían que se relacionara su bebida con ese tipo de gente.

Años después la utilizan para uno de sus anuncios destrozando la original.

Aquí no pueden faltar las canciones a las que se acusó de provocar suicidios. Esta, de Judas Priest, además me encanta.

Dos chavales se suicidaron después de encerrarse en su habitación, tomar drogas y escuchar el recién adquirido Stained Class. Eran los tiempos de la acusaciones sobre de lo de meter mensajes subliminales en las pistas. Se acusó a Halford de cantar “do it”, “do it”, en la canción. En el juicio tuvo que cantar para demostrar que lo que otros oían como mensajes, era su respiración, derivada de la técnica que usa para cantar.

Existe un documental sobre el caso del “suicidio” de los chavales. Digo suicidio, porque uno de ellos murió (el cabecilla), y el otro quedó destrozado al pegarse el tiro en la cara. 3 años más tarde, James Vance fue hospitalizado por depresión, donde por causas desconocidas, murió de sobredosis . 😕
